Testimonials

I would like to applaud the exemplary treatment given to me by Dr. Roger Young.  As a first-time client, Dr. Young not only gave me a thorough eye exam, but he also checked for conditions which indicated whether the choice of glasses or contacts would be best to improve my vision.  Thanks to his skill and tenacious efforts, he continued to tweak my prescription until I am now seeing better than I have in forty years!

In addition to the excellent care I experienced, Dr. Young also demonstrated his expertise and caring when examining my elderly mother's eyes, where he found evidence of a potentially life-threatening condition and alerted her primary-care physician to the situation.  Dr. Young was also the first to accurately diagnose and successfully treat my father's double vision.

It is with great pleasure and deep gratitude that I would recommend Dr. Roger Young to anyone needing optometry services.  Dr. Roger Young's keen knowledge is outstanding and his time, effort, and dedicated spirit are greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Sandy R.

My name is Todd I. In 1999, I was involved in an auto accident that left me paralyzed from the neck down. Through therapy, and time, I'm now able to walk with the use of crutches. I am 56 years of age, and developed Cataracts on both eyes. My right eye was the worst. My vision got to be so bad, that I had a very hard time with balance when I walked. Because of my spinal-cord injury, I have balance issues anyway. Dr. Pingree performed surgery on my right eye last year. I'm an avid archery hunter, and when I was practicing shooting my bow last year, I found that I couldn't focus on my sights, or the target. After my surgery, I could not only see what I was doing, I noticed how much color the world has in it. I didn't believe how much I was missing. My left eye was getting worse. When I walked with clear vision in my right eye, and obscured vision in my left, I felt as I was walking inside of a 3-D movie. Again...Balance issues. I asked Dr. Pingree to fix me up. I had surgery in April. What a difference it made. My balance isn't in question as much. I can actually see what my crutches are landing on.

I want to thank all the people in Dr. Pingree's office. From the time I walked in, they had my best interest, first and foremost. I've been in so many Dr.s offices over the years, I can't count them all. Dr. Pingree has a great bunch of people, and it's a pleasure to see the smiles, and professionalism I encountered.

I might not be able to move out of the way if something is about to run over me, but at least, I'll be able to see it coming.

Thanks,

Todd
